We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in Python and Robot Framework with API Automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, Python scripting, and a creative approach to designing test scenarios.

Responsibilities:

Automation Testing:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Robot Framework.
• Implement API automation using Python or any other automation language.
• Identify, design, and automate test cases in collaboration with the testing and development teams.
• Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and performance of automated test scripts.

Python Scripting & Debugging:

• Utilize Python to enhance automation capabilities and integrate testing processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug scripts to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Stay updated with latest Python trends and incorporate best practices into the automation framework.

Creative Test Case Design:

• Apply a unique, creative approach to automation by incorporating playwriting techniques in test scenarios.
• Transform complex business requirements into engaging and effective test cases.
• Enhance communication and documentation of testing processes through innovative storytelling methods.

Collaboration & Code Quality:

• Work closely with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to align testing strategies with project goals.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality automation code.
• Maintain adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong expertise in Robot Framework and API automation using Python.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, debugging, and test framework development.
• Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable automation solutions.
• A creative mindset to design engaging and comprehensive test scenarios.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and collaboration abilities.
